IMPORTANT REMINDER: VBS (Vaction Bible School) registration opens and closes this Sunday, so you have to sign up by tomorrow no matter what! Don't forget - it's $15!

HELLO! I just came back from my church camp on Thursday! Haha. I was so tired that I slept all the way from 2pm to 6am the next day. I think it's my highest record ever - 14 hours! Hahas. Well like what the camp team people and Fedora said, it's tiring but fulfulling. I truly learnt so much during the camp. Plus I grew closer to my connect group people and to the others from the different zones. And yes, as cliche as it sounds, I walked out a changed person (:

For the sake for those who are mugging for their As and Os now, I shall spare you the fun details and talk about something I did during the camp that you can do at home too! Yes. Quiet time! We had QT sessions here and there throughout the camp. During that time, I finally knew what people mean when they say that music is meant for the enjoyment and pleasure of God. And that christians should edify each other. When we worshipped God, it seemed as though our voices merged into one! And it sounded really nice that way.. (:

On the last day of the camp Sam, Cherie, Fedora, Lucie and I did QT from 6am-8. Though it was very late (or early? Hmms.) and we were without a doubt, tired, the presence of God just brought so much buzz and excitment. We spent two hours just praying and worshipping Him, and somehow I feel that God is answering our prayers now! Plus at the end of our QT Lucie, Fedora and I had this tingling feeling on our faces. A bit like pins and needles. At first I thought it was that my face was numb or something, but when I found ot that they had it too I knew it was the presence of God. And Fedora also said that her hands felt so heavy that she couldn't lift them up! And we sang in tongues too. Which was so nice.. :) Isn't God amazing?

I can't wait for the second camp. Though everything is more or less the same as the first camp, I really want to fellowship with all my other friends and of course my leaders! Hahas.

And perhaps I should just share this with you.. I think everyone who went to the camp had to email Jackson and tell him about how they enjoyed the camp so here's what I wrote!

If there's one thing that I can say most assuredly, it's that every single person at the camp is now one step closer to God. Our Pastors really broke the small-mindedness that we had before the camp and showed us that God truly gives exceedingly above what we can think of asking Him. And the best thing? The camp was packed with 100% pure fun with so many wacky but exciting games that really bonded the church as one! I got to know so many other great and inspiring people from the different zones that I would never have known if I hadn't gone for the camp. It's truly an experience!

And what is really amazing now is that I'm seeing a change in the attitude of my un-churched friends. People who I thought were not open to coming to church have been surprisingly receptive. Maybe it's that I'm now learning to love people in a BIG way, or maybe it's that I'm thinking BIG. But one thing I know for sure is that God is fighting the spiritual battle and working in a BIG way!

It was an indescribable feeling spending three consecutive days in the presence of God. His presence was so tangible that it was impossible not to feel. Plus I experienced a breakthrough in my struggle with hearing the voice of God! And through the sharing sessions I know that many others overcame many big obstacles in their walk of faith and emerged as BIG people!

But don't worry if you've missed out on the first camp. The second one's going to be even better with double the anointing and double the power - believe it!
