A day to remember
>2005-10-30 - 7:59 p.m.
Today was such a great day!
Had resource duty from 8.15am-1pm! Haha. Think that's early? Well the worship team people were already practising when I reached church at 8am. I think they came around what? 6.30? And they are on duty all the way until 4pm because they play for both the adult and youth service. Fedora and I were talking about how the bookstore would be like when we grow bigger in the near future! Like the bookstore and the recep will be so far apart that the bookstore will need their own telephone line and we can pick up calls and say, 'Hi Generations bookstore!' Haha. And we can display the 'Now Playing' cds! So exciting!!! And we talked about Fish&Co and how pretty their halloween decorations were. And of course how good their food is. Haha. Afterwards Fedora gave in to her urge and went to buy fries from downstairs.
And service was great! As usual. Haha. I love praise & worship.
Jesus
I saw the blood on Your hands
I felt the thorns on Your head
I heard the cry of Your heart
"Father, forgive them"
I have to be honest. I haven't been a good christian. Jesus loved me when I was still rubbish in the eyes of the world. When I was a nobody. He loved me even when I was a sinner. He loved me so much that He died for me, even though I was sinning against Him and doing Him wrong. And yet I haven't loved my father in that same way. Although he's done me and my family so many wrongs, and is probably still doing it, I know that I should love him just like God loved me. If I can't love even my father, how can I love others who I don't even know?
Anyway, on a lighter note,
TOMORROW IS THE START OF BIG CAMP! Haha. I can hardly wait. Four days of being in His presence? That's priceless. A day in His courts is better than a thousand days on this earth!
